This is the first time since more than one year that I will not have internet access and will not be able to answer MCMS newsgroup questions.
I hope you guys are able to survive a month without me. 😉 But I’m sure you will. On the right you can see the tour I have planned. Keep your fingers crossed that Michaela (my girlfriend) and I will have good weather on this tour. |

Oh my! You are going to skip Glacier National Park. It is argueably the best national park in the country. Please reconsider your options my friend.

Yes, get up to Glacier, it’s better than Death Valley. I’d love to do dinner with you when you’re here in Seattle too. rscoble@microsoft.com or my cell phone is 408-314-8233.
It looks like you’re missing Carmel, CA too.
Oh, wave at my mom’s house. She lives just north of Yellowstone.
Bummer that you’re missing Grand Tetons in Wyoming too.

Looks like it will be a great trip.
Hopefully, you’ll be able to send a blog update from a Starbucks or something – have a great time!

Hi Guys,
thanks for the suggestion with Glacier.
I have thought about that but I have heard that most roads are closed till mid of June. And my vacation ends end of May.
Cheers,
Stefan.

car? bicycles? motorcycles? what is your mode of travel on this super duper route?

Oh, I dont see Beautiful British Columbia on the map:(

Kris: if I would have 4 month instead of 4 weeks I would surely include BC. But I cannot go everywhere. Maybe next time…
Julie: we have a rented car but we will do lots of hiking in the national parks.

Sounds awesome! Looked like a pretty long bike ride! But I know people who ride cross-country so it’s not completely unfathomable. 🙂 have a great trip.

Thanks god we have a car and don’t have to rely on bikes.

Have a great trip Stefan,
I have made the journey from SF to Seattle, that route is beautiful, especially the coastal roads and travelling through the redwood forests.
See you back on the newsgroup in the summer
Richard.
