The product group released the July 2019 Cumulative Update for the SharePoint 2013 product family.
For July 2019 CU we have full server packages (also known as Uber packages). No other CU is required to fully patch SharePoint.
As this is a common question: Yes, July 2019 CU includes all fixes from July 2019 PU.
ATTENTION:
Be aware that all Updates for SharePoint 2013 require SharePoint Server 2013 SP1 to be installed first.
Please also have a look at the article that discusses how to properly patch a SharePoint 2013 farm which has Search enabled (see below).
Previous releases of the SharePoint Server 2013 cumulative update included both the executable and the .CAB file in the same self-extracting executable download. Because of the file size, the SharePoint Server 2013 package has been divided into several separate downloads. One contains the executable file, while the others contain the CAB file. All are necessary and must be placed in the same folder to successfully install the update. All are available by clicking the same Hotfix Download Available link in the KB article for the release.
This CU includes all SharePoint 2013 fixes (including all SharePoint 2013 security fixes) released since SP1. The CU does not include SP1. You need to install SP1 before installing this CU.
The KB articles for July 2019 CU should be available at the following locations in a couple of hours:

- KB 4475526 – SharePoint Server 2013 July 2019 CU
- KB 4475524 – Project Server 2013 July 2019 CU
- There was no fix released for Office Web Apps Server 2013 this month

After installing the fixes you need to run the SharePoint 2013 Products Configuration Wizard on each machine in the farm. If you prefer to run the command line version psconfig.exe ensure to have a look here for the correct Options.
Be aware that the SharePoint Server 2013 CU contains the SharePoint Foundation 2013 CU. And the Project Server 2013 CU also contains the SharePoint Server 2013 CU and SharePoint Foundation 2013 CU.

What are the urls to use for the PowerShell DownloadPrerequisites script? I believe they should be something along the lines of https://download.microsoft.com/download/B/E/6/294968c0-d67c-4748-946e-8350cb276eb5
/ubersrv2013-kb4475522-fullfile-x64-glb.exe, but that doesn’t seem to work. BITS says the folder doesn’t exist.

I’ve installed this on 2 non-production farms so far and both are now reporting issues with Distributed Cache. Timer jobs related to User Profile Service are failing, and stating that SPDistributedCache may be down. When attempting to start the AppFabric caching service on the servers, it starts and then crashes within a few seconds. At the time of the AppFabric Caching service crashing, I see this in the event logs:
Faulting application name: DistributedCacheService.exe, version: 1.0.4632.0, time stamp: 0x4eafeccf
Faulting module name: KERNELBASE.dll, version: 6.1.7601.24475, time stamp: 0x5cdd7d45
Anybody else running into this or have any ideas?

Hi Stefan,
When I try to run the exe”ubersrv2013-kb4475526-fullfile-x64-glb.exe”, after progressing some time, it says “The installation of this package failed”. After running the exes for almost 3 times, it is getting installed successfully.I have two cabinet files copied to the same location. Any idea what could be the issue?

I’m new to sharepoint and we have a sp2013 farm with English, French, German and Spanish language packs installed and we are planning to migrate the farm to July 2019 CU update. What is the process i need to fallow, Do i need to download the CU for all the languages and install or only English CU will be enough ?

Just download it for one language and install it and you are good.
