SharePoint security fixes released with November 2017 PU and offered through Microsoft Update

   Comes every month a full CU via wsus when there security problems fixed?
   We searched for KB Numbers on the security updates posts and on the download announcement post and they have most times the same KB.

      Hi Timo,
      no WSUS will not provide the complete CU. Only the packages that include the security fixes.
      Can you provide an example KB you received?

         short quote from the site:
         The KB articles for November 2017 CU are available at the following location:
         •KB 4011244 – November 2017 Update for SharePoint Server 2016 (language independent) – This is also a security update!
         This update ist the same KB as mentioned above offered via wsus. the KBs are same, so we think thats the same updates.
         for full CU i have to install the language dependent fixes too?
         could there on language dependend updates also security updates? and then they offered trough wsus?

            Hi Timo,
            the November 2017 CU consists of two fixes: the language dependent and the language independent fix.
            The security fix is only the language independent part – so not the full CU.
