We have recently identified a problem in October and November 2015 CU which will also be present in the upcoming December 2015 CU for SharePoint 2013.
These updates will cause outbound query federation to stop working. Outbound query federation returns federated results to SharePoint Server 2013 Search services when SharePoint Server 2013 Search services query the SharePoint Online search index. This issue will be fixed by the January, 12, 2016, cumulative update for SharePoint Server 2013.
If you rely on outbound query federation with SharePoint 2013 we recommend to wait for January 2016 CU for SharePoint 2013 rather than installing October, November or December 2015 CU.

Thanks Stefan
As always extremely helpful

Thanks. But it adds lot of efforts to patch sharepoint everymonth and bring down Prod environment every month for patching. Microsoft Should consider bringing CU once every Quarter as it facilitates a smooth environment.
Also every month patch has chances of more new bugs.

Hi Hemant,
we recommend to apply CUs only if it contains a specific fix you need or if advised by Microsoft support.
We do not recommend to install each CU that is released.

Hi Nemanja,
this is not a known issue. I would recommend to open a support case with Microsoft if you need this issue analyzed.

Hi,
I updated sharepoint 2013 with November updates but after updating the server both mysite and onedrive is redirecting on office 365.
Earlier only onedrive is redirecting for office 365. I selected only onedrive in central admin but nothing happened.
Thanks
Raghu
