  6. Just an old guy who knows enough to be dangerous and has some questions about WSS.  I’m using WSS on a Small Business Server.  I have two questions.  I want to back up files stored in Sharepoint libraries but can’t find the files through explore.  What directory are these files stored in?  The second question is regarding the browser timing out.  I’ve used IE 8 and Firefox.  Both browsers time out and close.  Is there a way to extend the time out function or disable it?  Hope you can provide some help.  Thanks.

  7. Hi Joe,

the files managed by SharePoint are in the SQL database.

Related to the timeout: you can control a timeout in web.config. But in case that the browser decides to close the connection: I’m not sure if this can be changed. You should check in an IE related forum.

    Cheers,

    Stefan

  9. Hi Rajeshwar,

the CU packages always contain all fixes for the language packs as well.

That is different from the Service Packs.
