The day started with a key note from Andrew Lees. Topic of the keynote was “Ready for Business”. Main topics covered were 64bit technology, virtualization and benefits of our new products (SQL Server 2005, Visual Studio 2005) for business and integration strategies.
After the keynote I jumped over to the Ask the Experts Area and to the Exhibition hall. I stepped by at the K2 booth to talk to the K2 guys about their workflow implementation. Unfortunatelly they didn’t have a demo ready…
Later I joined the SharePoint Best Practices session hold by Richard Taylor. Richard is actually a very good speaker and was able to present the common misunderstanding in a very flowerful manner. Great to listen!
After the sessions ended I joined the other MCMS and SharePoint experts at the booth for the TechEd welcome drink. A lot of people stepped by – unfortunatelly mainly not to talk about our products but to catch one of the goodies we had at our booth. 😉
But some of the customers I had been working with in the past also stepped by and later also Arpan arrived and three guys from Telerik stepped by and I had a chance to talk with them about their MCMS controls.
