MCMS tip of the day – (custom) property edit control

As an author for an MCMS web site you might have experienced the problem that you first have to save a posting before you get the chance to update it’s properties.

Means first fill in the content into the placeholders, then save it and finally modify the properties (e.g. start date, expiration date) and custom properties. This process causes problems if an author gets interupted during his work or just forgets to enter the customer property values.

Wouldn’t it be nice if you could provide edit controls for the custom properties similar to the placeholder controls of MCMS?
